Richland's VCA Animal Medical Center has a long history in our neighborhood. Since most of our staff has been working for a number of years, they have witnessed two generations of pet families. Dr. Harbinson, our medical director, has over 20 years of experience treating animals at Animal Medical Center. The doctors Dr. Harbinson and Drs. Along with Dr. Cooper, who obtained her DVM from Pennsylvania State University, Smith, Durand, and Dr. Cooper all graduated with veterinary degrees from Washington State University. The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners has also certified Dr. Harbinson in Canine and Feline Practice (ABVP).

From the first check-up through the senior years, we're here for you and your pet. Dr. Leroy Davidson founded Fairwood Plaza Animal Clinic in 1979. After 38 years of practice, he retired and sold the practice at the end of 2016 to Dr. Sue Moriyasu, who had served as a relief veterinarian at the clinic since 2006. Since 2017, Dr. Moriyasu and staff have continued to operate the clinic.

In addition to Auburn, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Federal Way, Fife, Issaquah, Kent, Maple Valley, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Normandy Park, Seahurst, South Seattle, Sumner, West Seattle, and Tukwila, our 24-hour animal hospital is located in Renton. The doors of BluePearl Renton are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Diagnostic equipment at the facility includes ultrasonography, endoscopy, and digital radiography. In addition to other unique services, Renton provides a non-surgical method to remove kidney and bladder stones by pulverizing them with lasers. The hospital has the tools necessary for laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures, as well as the ability to administer hemodialysis to animals in need of specialized renal care.
