For more than 80 years, Central Maine residents have been taken care of by New England Animal Hospital. It is a small, family-run business in Waterville that is committed to giving companion animals outstanding veterinarian care. Since taking over the clinic in 2012, Dr. Russell Danner, DVM, has tried to improve it through technology, communication, and education. The Hospital is a devoted member of the neighborhood, holding fundraisers for nearby schools and offering care to animals at neighborhood shelters and non-profit organizations.

The Animal Hospital of Waterville's veterinarians and staff welcome you and your pets, and are proud to offer routine pet care, surgery, and acupuncture services. During every pet's medical exam, the veterinarian will provide you with information about routine pet care, as well as any diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment your pet may need.

If you own a cat, you may be acquainted with the difficulties of bringing your pet to a clinic that treats only animals. Your cat may get agitated and aggressive towards dogs, birds, and occasionally unusual pets. You can bring your pet in for routine care more easily at our specialty feline care clinic where you'll receive treatment from a feline-only veterinarian in a feline-only environment. Dr. Alan Potthoff founded MVMC in 2009 as the Maine Veterinary Referral Center. The Animal Neurology Clinic was formerly operated by Dr. Potthoff and was located in Portland. His goal was to create a world-class, all-in-one hospital when he relocated the hospital to Scarborough.

Our patients include dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. Pine Point Animal Hospital is proud to be serving animal-loving families in Southern Maine. We established our hospital in December of 2005 with the goal of providing medical, surgical, and dental care with individual attention and compassion for you and your companions.

We are a full-service, holistic healthcare and boarding establishment. Our main concern is your pet's needs, including their dietary, dental, and other needs.
