This dog park, which was completely renovated in August of 2013, has become a neighbourhood favourite. There are separate areas for little and large dogs, each having splash pads, a doxi tunnel on the small dog side, and a tennis ball tree on the large dog side that launches tennis balls.

Go to Hollywood's Dog Beach, where all members of your family, including your canine companions, can have a good time at the beach. The dog beach is open year-round on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. From November to May, the hours are 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and from April to October, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. During dog beach hours, park rangers or the Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts, 1405 S. 28th Avenue, sell daily and six-month passes. Despite the fact that the Dog Beach of Hollywood is supervised by a park ranger, appropriate dog park etiquette is strongly urged. Aggressive dogs are not permitted, and owners must clean up after their pets. Dogs are also not permitted on the beach outside of the approved hours or locations.

Your dog is welcome to run around in the sand and jump into the ocean, but keep an eye out for the windsurfers slaloming in the water. There are plenty of parking spots nearby, as well as areas to relax in the shade while your dog runs around. From sunrise until sunset, the beach is open to the public.
