Downs Memorial Park Dog Beach

The Downs Memorial Park Dog Beach, located off the perimeter trail in Downs Memorial Park, is a great area for new canines to learn to swim or experienced canine swimmers to enjoy some time in the water.

Abingdon Road Park, near the Abingdon Water Treatment Plant, has a paved trail, pavilion, benches, and a dog park.

A 1.5-acre park for large dogs and a.75-acre park for little dogs are available at our Baltimore Animal Recreation Center (BARC) Park. Dogs can drink from water fountains in both parks.

A playground, picnic spots, and outdoor concerts are available at this 7-acre park beside the lake.

Seneca Creek State Park is a public recreation area in Montgomery County, Maryland that spans more than 6,300 acres along Seneca Creek's 14-mile journey to the Potomac River. Boating and fishing are available at the park, as well as hiking, cycling, and horseback riding routes.
