Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is America's largest privately owned arts center, and your dog is allowed to participate in the fun. This massive historic manufacturing building has been transformed into 148 working studios for over 200 artists and craftsmen, six galleries, a theater, and performance venues, all with a concentration on visual arts. While wandering, you'll come across specialty food and beverages ranging from ice pops to vegan fare from a passing food truck. A vintage clothes store, a record store, and a flea market are also open every Saturday. Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment is open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday, Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This modest, enclosed area, which is not an official dog park, welcomes well-behaved, leashed dogs to run and play. This park, shaded by massive live oaks and complete with benches, is one of the most beautiful you'll ever see. There is parking accessible in the historic downtown district.

Petzooie to "Jerusalem in Tiny," a 4-acre dog-friendly park with 125 miniature replicas of notable historic sites and shrines from throughout the world. Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk at St. Bernard Abbey, created these sculptures throughout the course of his life. It's a tranquil haven in the middle of nowhere.

You can take your dog to Battleship Memorial Park's pet-friendly memorial section. A statue honors the canines who have aided the military forces over the years on this magnificent retired battleship. The park is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week. Active Duty Military get in free, children ages 6 to 11 get in for $5, seniors get in for $13, and adults get in for $15.

Pets are welcome in McCallum Park. This private park in a residential area welcomes leashed dogs and features pavilions, pathways, restrooms, and a wide, open green space. Little Shades Creek flows through the park, and there are grills for cooking over open flames (personal grills are not permitted in parks). It's at the very end of Rosemary Lane (off of Rocky Ridge Road).

This 54-acre linear park was created as a green route and is utilized for walking, jogging, reading, bird viewing, and picnicking. While wandering along Shades Creek, visitors may unwind and take in the views and sounds of nature. The area is home to owls, hawks, raccoons, and foxes, as well as a diverse range of natural plant species. Jemison Park is one of Mountain Brook's most popular walking destinations due to its natural beauty. The Nature Trail and the Watkins Trace Trail are connected by a one-mile concrete trail. It is easily accessible to inhabitants because it is linked to the City's walkway system. There are various parking places available along Mountain Brook Parkway.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Robertsdale Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Robertsdale! A parking lot with easy access to the Robertsdale Trail is shown on the map below.
9189. Jasper's Dog Park at Eagles Point Park
Bring Petzooie to the City of Jasper Off-Leash Dog Park for some fun! A little dog area, a large dog area, benches, shelter, a human and dog drinking fountain, agility equipment, trash bags and bins, and swings are all available at the Dog Park, which is located in a multi-use park. The park is part of a larger multi-use park that also features The Eagle Disc Golf Course, a one-mile trail, and other amenities. From dawn to sunset, the Park is available to the public.
