This 54-acre linear park was created as a green route and is utilized for walking, jogging, reading, bird viewing, and picnicking. While wandering along Shades Creek, visitors may unwind and take in the views and sounds of nature. The area is home to owls, hawks, raccoons, and foxes, as well as a diverse range of natural plant species. Jemison Park is one of Mountain Brook's most popular walking destinations due to its natural beauty. The Nature Trail and the Watkins Trace Trail are connected by a one-mile concrete trail. It is easily accessible to inhabitants because it is linked to the City's walkway system. There are various parking places available along Mountain Brook Parkway.
