Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Robertsdale Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Robertsdale! A parking lot with easy access to the Robertsdale Trail is shown on the map below.

Fairhope Dog Park

The Fairhope Dog Park, part of the Fairhope Municipal Sporting Park / Volanta Sports Complex, is an off–leash dog park. The Fairhope Dog Park Coalition and the City of Fairhope collaborated on the park. There are two areas to the 2-acre park, one for little dogs and the other for large dogs.
