Dog Park Locations

Pets are welcome at Liquor Express and Craft Beer. At this artisan beer emporium, dogs are welcome to accompany their owners. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 a.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Liquor Express and Craft Beer is open.

Bladon Springs State Park near Silas, AL, is dog-friendly, and visitors can relax in the quiet of this rural setting. This woodland area is known for its peace and quiet, making it a good camping and animal viewing location. Bladon Springs, a destination on Alabama's Black Belt Birding Trail, is also a favorite among birders. A vast variety of songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors can be found. Most parks allow dogs as long as they are kept on a leash. For safety concerns, several bike and equestrian riding trails do not allow dogs. In stores, food service areas, bathhouses, pools, and swimming areas, dogs are not permitted. Dogs must not be left unattended, and if left in a heated car, they will be confiscated.

Pets are welcome on Campus No. 805. This southern brewery welcomes dogs. Thousands of students, teachers, parents, and administrators who were formerly a part of this campus, which is now a brewery and event space, are remembered by the name.

The Wiregrass Region of Alabama is hot in the summer, so Blue Springs State Park in Clio is a great spot to cool off. Locals may consider this park a secret swimming hole, but it is definitely worth the drive from anywhere in the state. Blue Springs is a terrific summertime destination, but it is also welcoming all year. This is the spot to go if you want to slow down and enjoy some peace and quiet. Pets are welcome at Indian Shell Mound Park. Your history-loving hound can explore this prehistoric monument created by early native Americans. Leashed pets are allowed as long as they are cleaned up after themselves to keep the area tidy.

Pets are welcome at Salty Nut Brewery. This craft brewer offers a variety of delectable beers to both locals and visitors. Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Salty Nut Brewery is open.

Bark Park is a dog-friendly park. The park is directly inside the James D. Martin Wildlife Park's entrance, behind the Gadsden Mall. The Bark Park was created to allow dogs to exercise and play off-leash, and there are separate areas for large and little dogs (40 lbs. or less). Each park provides water for the dogs as well as chairs for their owners.

Petro owns a travel agency.This facility features a special area set aside for pets in need of exercise or a rest. For quick cleanup, waste bags and garbage receptacles are also supplied. Pet care products are also available at TA and Petro Travel Stores.

Alabama Outdoors welcomes pets. Alabama Outdoors was one of the first stores of its kind in the area when it opened in 1975. This well-known outdoor company sells high-quality outerwear, shoes, and equipment for a variety of outdoor activities, including climbing and hiking. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Alabama Outdoors is open.
