At Lake Chicot State Park, bring Petzooie along for a fishing trip. Just keep your pooch on a leash while on land. Lake Chicot is the largest natural lake in Arkansas and the largest oxbow lake in North America, measuring 20 miles long. Anglers flock to the area all year because of its magnificent waters. The park is located near the Mississippi River and is part of one of the country's greatest flyways, making it ideal for birdwatching.

Pets are welcome at Rock Town River Outfitters. Kayak tours and rentals, as well as bike tours and rentals, are available at Little Rock's first Arkansas River outfitter in Central Arkansas. Bring your dog to the Rock Town River Outfitters and the Rock City Row Team's shared boat house, which is a terrific spot to get out on the water, learn from expert rowers, and hire your pet-friendly craft of choice. Kayak rentals for a two-hour float start at $35. Brewski's Draft Emporium welcomes dogs! The Draft Emporium is a bustling alehouse that offers a diverse selection of draft microbrews. On the terrace, leashed pets are invited to accompany their owners. Brewski's Draft Emporium is open from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week.

In Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Abby's Dog Park is a popular pet-friendly activity. This park was built using community donations and is named after Abby, a popular local dog and cancer survivor. The 0.8-acre park is separated into two parts, one for little dogs and one for large dogs. You can cool off in the shade of the many trees on hot days. When your dog becomes thirsty, he or she can drink from the offered faucets. There are benches for humans to sit on, as well as waste bags for dog owners to clean up after their pets.A utility pole light and motion detecting lights are installed for the safety of visitors bringing their pets to the park at night.

White Oak Lake State Park is a great area to spend a day in nature with your dog, with plenty of hiking routes and fishing options. Simply keep Petzooie leashed at all times.

The Plantation Agriculture Museum is a dog-friendly exhibition facility with displays depicting things from various periods in Arkansas cotton agriculture's history. Petzooie can accompany you on your tour of the interesting exhibits, such as water pumping and cotton ginning machinery, as long as they are house-trained and leashed. You can stop in and check out the interactive display items while on a loop to the nearby beauty places, which is just down the road from Little Rock.

The Ozark Highlands Trail (OHT) is one of the country's best long-distance hiking trails. It is well-known for its winter trekking chances when many other paths are impassable. It is located in the midst of the South. The best time to visit this trail is from the fall until the spring. The OHT, which has been featured in National Geographic Magazine, The Guardian, and Backpacker Magazine, offers 270 miles of hiking and trekking across some of the region's most difficult and spectacular terrain. The trail is marked with 2′′x6′′ white markers that are attached to a tree about eye level and positioned vertically. A 12′′ piece of carsonite post angled horizontally and affixed to a tree near eye level and facing the trail serves as a mile marker. The map locations can be found on the webpage.

The Christ of the Ozarks Statue is a seven-story statue of Christ in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. While you appreciate the grandeur of Magnetic Mountain, Petzooie is welcome to join you at this pet-friendly monument!

This facility features a special area set aside for pets in need of exercise or a rest. For quick cleanup, waste bags and garbage receptacles are also supplied. Pet care products are also available at TA and Petro Travel Stores.

At Footlights Dance Store in Little Rock, Arizona, dogs are welcome to accompany their owners. This one-stop dancing shop offers all the supplies you'll need to get your toes tapping. Dance and tap shoes, leotards and outfits, plus a variety of other dance-related things are all available on the shelves. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Footlights Dance Store is open.
