Paws Park at Murray Park is an off-leash dog park with separate areas for dogs over 30 pounds and dogs under 30 pounds. This is a fantastic place for you and your dog to have fun. There are tubs for your dog to swim in, chairs to sit on, tennis balls, tables to sit at, and other miscellaneous items for your dog to enjoy. The park is nearly entirely shaded.

Dogs on leashes are welcome inside if they are well-behaved. Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., JOANN Fabrics and Crafts is open.

Bring your dog along to assist you in the search for a new wheelbarrow, buckets, feed, and other necessities. A dog wash is also available at this location. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tractor Supply Co. is open.

Cantrell Ace Hardware welcomes pets. Bring your dog along to look for stuff for home remodeling and other purposes. Dogs on leashes are welcome inside if they are well-behaved and eager to assist with DIY projects. Cantrell Ace Hardware is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Pinnacle Mountain State Park's Rocky Valley Trail is dog-friendly! Green blazes indicate the trail's location. It's a two-mile loop that winds through an old rock quarry before entering a densely forested valley. The hike down and back up the valley should take about two hours for dog owners. The trail is rated as somewhat challenging. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout their visit to the Park.
