Westfield UTC is a fantastic, dog-friendly, open-air shopping district in San Diego, CA, featuring 120 boutiques. Not all shops are dog-friendly, so check with staff before bringing Petzooie in. Petzooie is also welcome to visit the Bark Park in Palm Plaza, which is located behind the Clock Tower. Take the hill between Tender Greens and Express down to the lovely, fully gated dog park.

Nate's Point Off-Leash Dog Park, located in Balboa Park, is regarded as one of the top dog parks in the San Diego area. The park is entirely fenced in. Douglas Family Preserve is one of two off-leash dog parks in Santa Barbara, California, with 70 acres of hiking trails and a beach where your dog can run free. Waste bags and fresh water for dogs should be brought by their owners. Dogs must be kept on a leash while entering the park and until they reach the off-leash areas signs. Over three miles of dog-friendly park pathways are available, with some offering views of the Pacific shoreline.

The Disneyland Kennel Club is located next to the park's main entrance. While at the park, dog owners are welcome to use the kennel club. Because attendants are not permitted to feed, water, or walk pets, owners must return throughout the day to respond to their pets' requirements. Food, water, toys, blankets, and comfort items must be provided by the owners. It is necessary to show proof of immunization papers. The Disneyland Resort Kennel Club normally opens 30 minutes before the earliest park opening time and ends 30 minutes after the most recent park closing time.
