Dog Park Locations

At this tranquil park, you may rest in a distant natural setting. It's a terrific spot for families, and dogs on leashes are allowed. On weekends and other busy days, reservations are required.

Mitchell Park offers an off-leash dog exercise area behind Spangler School on the south side of the park.

The Centennial Dog Park in Bakersfield, California, is a fully-gated facility with a large grassy space for Petzooie to run and play. The park offers concrete benches for owners, and the big expanse is great for dogs who prefer their own private place.

The Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park is divided into three sections for dogs of various sizes. It's a fantastic spot for your dog to exercise. Every Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the park is closed for routine maintenance.

Sailing is a sport that dogs like as well. Any of our daily cruises departing from gorgeous Santa Barbara Harbor welcome your four-legged companion. Our 41-foot sailing yacht will provide you with a true sailing experience. Private charters and trips ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 hours are also offered. Reservations must be made in advance.

Woodglen Vista Dog Park in Santee, California, is a dog-friendly, fully-fenced, off-leash dog park with shade and water. Woodglen Vista Park also offers a grass field and facilities. When outside of the dog park, please keep Petzooie on a leash.

Petzooie is permitted in some areas of Joshua Tree National Park, which is home to two separate desert ecosystems: the Mojave and the Colorado. Pets must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times and are not permitted on any trails or in the wilderness. Dogs are allowed to explore picnic spots, highways, and campgrounds, but they must stay within a hundred feet of them. Dog owners should clean up after their pets and bring plenty of water with them, according to the National Park Service. A map of where pets are permitted can be found on Joshua Tree's official website. Year-round, Joshua Tree National Park is open twenty-four hours a day; however, some portions of the park are only open during the day.

This new off-leash park is fenced in and has separate spaces for large and little dogs, as well as benches, trash bags, and nearby restrooms.

The Santa Margarita River Walk is a 5-mile dog-friendly trail near Fallbrook, California, with a variety of terrain and stunning vistas. The presence of so many broad water impoundments along the river, which are the work of the California golden beaver, often surprises visitors. At all times, dogs must be leashed.

The Fullerton farmers market is well-known for being dog-friendly, as long as your companion remains on a leash. While enjoying live entertainment, shop for fresh fruit, baked foods, and arts & crafts. There's also a beer garden outside! Fullerton Market has Dog Days once a season, with vendor stalls, prizes, and live music dedicated to dogs.
