Centennial Dog Park

The Recreation and Parks Department of the City of Bakersfield maintains seven dog-friendly parks. These parks are distinct in that they provide a leash-free place for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

Petzooie can play, interact, and exercise in a completely gated, off-leash grassy area at Wilson Park in Bakersfield, CA. The park lies on Wilson Road near Hughes Lane, just south of Bakersfield's downtown area.

At this community park's gated dog run, you may watch your pet play off-leash. A doggie drinking fountain and benches for owners may be found in the off-leash area.

The Kern River Parkway Trail is a multi-use trail in Bakersfield that is a perfect area to walk Petzooie! A parking lot with easy access to the Kern River Parkway Trail is shown on the map below.

Bring your tiny dog to this fenced-in area near the primary school for some off-leash fun. There is a double-gated entrance, a picnic bench, and shade trees in the park.

Relax at a beautiful Bakersfield park, where your pet is welcome to join you on a leash. A fenced dog run is also available where your pet can run off-leash.
