Take your dog for a walk down Hollywood's Walk of Fame in West Hollywood, California, and discover more about the celebrities recognized by each star. You might even be able to catch an induction ceremony if you're lucky or plan beforehand.

In Mammoth Lakes, CA, the dog-friendly Devils Postpile National Monument offers breathtaking vistas of the Devils Postpile formation as well as Rainbow Falls. All trails within the Monument, as well as the campsite and day use areas, are dog-friendly. On the shuttle buses, dogs are permitted but must be muzzled.

On the Village Park Trail in Encinitas, CA, your dog will find plenty of odors to investigate. This gorgeous, dog-friendly natural trail is rarely busy and welcomes dogs off leash. Between Encinitas Boulevard and Mountain Vista Road, the route is located east of El Camino Real.

Locals are welcome to bring their dogs to this enclosed dog park, which also has a separate little dog section, to play off-leash. A temporary permit is available to non-residents. Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the park is closed for maintenance.

Bring your dog to Petco Park in San Diego to watch the Padres play from The Barkyard, which has five semi-private, dog-friendly viewing spots in left-center field that can accommodate up to four people and two dogs each. Artificial turf that does not absorb heat and in-seat meal service are available in the viewing sections to keep paws cool. Each dog will be greeted by a PetCo ambassador before being led to their seat by a Padres pet-concierge. Nearby, there is a certified Pet Relief Area as well as a watering station. Torrey Highlands Dog Park is a dog-friendly park in San Diego, California, where your pet will appreciate the opportunity to run about off-leash in a fenced, 1-acre park with a turfed and mulched section.

Calabasas Bark Park is a small, walled, off-leash dog park that is popular with locals. It has a doggie drinking fountain, pooper scoopers, and plenty of parking. At any given time, no more than three (3) dogs per person are allowed in the park.

El Segundo Dog Park is a long, thin park with lots of room for your off-leash dog to run around. There are plenty of shade trees and the property is completely fenced. There are separate places for tiny and large dogs to exercise in with dogs of similar sizes.
