William S. Hart Park & Off-Leash Dog Park, located on De Longpre Ave in West Hollywood, welcomes leashed dogs.

The West Hollywood Park & Dog Park is the culmination of a lengthy community planning process. This dog-friendly park is divided into two sections, one for large dogs that covers 7000 square feet and the other for smaller dogs that covers 4000 square feet, near to several basketball courts. The park's floor is built of K9 artificial turf for dogs that is environmentally friendly and does not contain rubber infill. Petzooie's paws should stay cool and not get burned with this design. Both dog parks are enclosed and gated, with new bench seating, dog water stations, and even real trees and vines. The park is normally open from 6 a.m. until 12 a.m., though some limits may apply on specific holidays.The large dog park will be closed from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. every Wednesday, and the little dog park will be closed from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. to keep the parks clean.

The West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center is still under construction. The playground at West Hollywood Park is likewise closed until further notice. Parts of the Great Lawn, as well as dog parks, are still open.
