Dog Park Locations

Zuma Canyon Loop Trail is a pleasant hike in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Leashed (no longer than six feet) pets are welcome to join their humans as they hike along this trail, which is a wonderful spot to take in the changing seasons. A variety of trees make for a colorful fall and winter season. The creek that runs through the canyon flows all year, but at times can be only a trickle.

Five miles of coastal shoreline, rocky bluffs, sandy beaches, sand dunes, craggy hills and uplands, two main river canyons, and broad grassy valleys interspersed with sycamores, oaks, and a few native walnuts make up Point Mugu State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains. All day use sites, including campgrounds and day use zones, welcome leashed pets. Backcountry trails and gravel roads are off-limits to pets. There are almost 70 miles of hiking trails in the area. Swimming, body surfing, and surf fishing are all available at the beach. The Boney Mountains State Wilderness Area's craggy pinnacles are part of the park.

In a peaceful area, the City of Moorpark Dog Park isaround 3/4 acre in size and is located inside College View Park and a completely gated dog park. Small and big breed dogs have separate play areas. Afternoon shade is provided by large existing trees. Before entering the park, all dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. Children under the age of six are not permitted.

Along Fieldcrest is the location for the off-leash dog area. Please respect our drought circumstances by just using what you need from the magnificent drinking fountain in this park. Please be mindful to others and keep your dog on a leash only during the hours and locations specified.

Your Dog will have a great time at this park. In addition to a big and small dog area, parking and picnic tables can be found at the Simi Dog Park.

Located in Newbury Park, a terrific place for you and your dog to have a day of fun. Your pet can receive some much-needed exercise if you provide a sufficient amount of room, but there is no distinct area for large and little dogs.

Calabasas Bark Park is a small, walled, off-leash dog park that is popular with residents. It has a doggy water fountain, pooper scoopers, and plenty of parking.

Oak Canyon Dog Park features separate spaces for large and little dogs, as well as water stations for dogs. Behind Oak Canyon Community Park is the dog park. Use the Oak Canyon Community Park gate and continue to the end of the road, where you may park and walk about 200 yards to the park's entrance.
