Dog Park Locations

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park is located in downtown Anniston, near to the Justin Solohub Justice Center. The Model City Music Concerts are held annually at the Pavilion, which accommodates numerous community activities. A fully accessible American with Disabilities Act playground, pavilions, a splash pad, and restrooms are also available at the park. The Unity House, on the junction of 13th Street and Moore Avenue, is also in the park.

Weaver City Park (Elwell Park) is a park that also acts as a trailhead for the Chief Ladiga Trail. The park is well-equipped.

There are picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground, and a walking track, as well as a skate park and a dog park with military-grade obstacles.

Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve is the ideal location for reconnecting with nature and getting away from the stresses of everyday life. Our Alabama hiking trails offer some of the best bird-watching in the state, making them ideal for nature lovers. While enjoying our gorgeous campsites, catch up on some family bonding time. In one of our enormous yellow tubes, take a leisurely float down Big Escambia Creek.

The Atmore Welcome Center, as well as a new splash pad and playground equipment, are all located in Heritage Park. The Atmore Country Club, located west of town, has a magnificent nine-hole course for members and their guests to enjoy. The desires of the sportsman who enjoys fishing or hunting will be met by nearby rivers and woodlands filled with trophy game.



Black Creek Park (immediately off Highway 31) — This magnificent park, with its stunning trees, pathways, and babbling creek, is home to our residents' softball fields, two batting cages, and recreational and church leagues. A one-mile walking path is encircled by a tiny brook that runs alongside it. Everyone can enjoy the area because it is well-lit and safe. There are constantly a number of people walking and jogging around the track, as well as those who simply want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature while having a picnic in the park. A pavilion with tables that seats 100 people or more is offered for family reunions and company picnics.
