Dog Park Locations

Bring Petzooie to the Saturday Farmers' Market at RoadRunner Park to buy locally grown produce, baked goods, honey, jams and jellies, nursery stock, natural pork, beef, and seafood, as well as handcrafted crafts. Dogs that are well-behaved and on a leash are welcome.

Take Petzooie to Mormon Trailhead in Phoenix, Arizona, for a somewhat strenuous trek. This path is a five-mile circle with a 1,000-foot elevation increase that offers year-round vistas of the desert. Take in the wildflowers and local wildlife along the trail, or simply walk for exercise. Try one of the paths that connect to this one and explore the region if you want a longer hike. There is plenty of parking near the trailhead. Make sure to carry lots of water for both yourself and Petzooie.

Petzooie is welcome to visit The Farm at South Mountain. The lovely surroundings are ideal for a dog walk around the gardens, cafés, and markets. The Morning Glory Café and The Farm Kitchen are two dog-friendly restaurants on the farm.

This Chandler park welcomes leashed pets to play.

Hops on Birch, in Flagstaff, Arizona, is a casual craft beer pub that offers a wide range of beverages to suit any taste. While you enjoy an Irish Stout, a Kombucha Lavender, a Grapefruit Hard Cider, or even a Bourbon-Aged Dark Ale, Petzooie is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly booths. Hops on Birch is open from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

This little, enclosed dog park is a wonderful spot to take your dog for some off-leash fun. There's a lot of grass here, as well as double-entry gates and garbage stations. Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., we are closed for maintenance.

Anamax Dog Park offers agility equipment, and the grass provides a welcome respite from the desert. You can walk through the rest of Anamax Park with your leashed dogs or let them off their leashes here.

You can skijor or snowshoe with your dog on 22 kilometers of dog-friendly tracks at Arizona Nordic Village. In the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available, while in the summer, hiking, running, and bike paths are available.

The Navajo Village in Page, Arizona, offers visitors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about Navajo culture by viewing an authentic re-creation of a typical Navajo home site. Tours for small and large groups are available. Pets are welcome in the village, but they must be kept on a leash at all times and their owners must clean up after them.

Sundance Park offers two leash-free zones. One is for huge dogs, while the other is for tiny dogs. There is plenty of grass and water for dogs to drink, as well as some obstacles for dogs of all sizes. Every Wednesday, the Dog Park is closed for repair and reopens to the public at 2 p.m.
