Pinnacle Mountain State Park's Rocky Valley Trail is dog-friendly! Green blazes indicate the trail's location. It's a two-mile loop that winds through an old rock quarry before entering a densely forested valley. The hike down and back up the valley should take about two hours for dog owners. The trail is rated as somewhat challenging. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout their visit to the Park.

This state park sits atop the 1,350-foot Mount Nebo in the Arkansas River Valley, about 45 minutes from Arkansas Wine Country. You and Petzooie may explore more than 14 kilometers of trails at Mount Nebo State Park. All you have to do is keep your dog on a leash at all times.

8623. Ozark Highlands Trail - Arbaugh Trailhead

The Ozark Highlands Trail (OHT) is one of the country's best long-distance hiking trails. It is well-known for its winter trekking chances when many other paths are impassable. It is located in the midst of the South. The best time to visit this trail is from the fall until the spring. The OHT, which has been featured in National Geographic Magazine, The Guardian, and Backpacker Magazine, offers 270 miles of hiking and trekking across some of the region's most difficult and spectacular terrain. The trail is marked with 2′′x6′′ white markers that are attached to a tree about eye level and positioned vertically. A 12′′ piece of carsonite post angled horizontally and affixed to a tree near eye level and facing the trail serves as a mile marker. The map locations can be found on the webpage.

The South Arkansas Arboretum is a 13-acre park in El Dorado, Arkansas, near to El Dorado High School. Walking routes and a pavilion for group events are available at the arboretum. Pets are permitted on the trails, but they must be leased and under the care of their owners at all times.

This park, which is located on the shores of the 335-acre Lake Frierson, is a great spot to unwind and enjoy year-round fishing for bream, catfish, crappie, saugeye, and bass.

Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany their owners while they shop for local fruit, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and homemade arts and crafts at the Bentonville Farmer's Market. Every year, the market has a dog-themed fair on Saturdays, appropriately dubbed the Dog Days Farmer's Market. From late April through the end of October, the market is open every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
