Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Parking lot with a short walk out to the cliffs with views of the Pacific Ocean. The greatest crescent of sandy beach in Big Sur, nestled below the magnificent Pacific Valley cliffs, is a short but steep (5-10 minute) hike down. It's about a mile long from beginning to end. In the parking area, there are pit toilets.

The Best Friend Dog Park is divided into two areas and is located in lovely Huntington Central Park at the intersection of Edwards Street and Inlet Drive in Huntington Beach, CA. Large dogs should use the larger section. The smaller part, roughly a half-acre in size, is reserved for small dogs and/or larger canines with disabilities. A lovely view of Lake Huntington may be seen from the Small Dog side! On both sides of the dog park, there are drinking stations with fresh water. There are also shaded spots throughout the dog park for those who want to avoid the sun. The dog park is completely free to enter. Poop bags are available in dispensers throughout the dog park, in addition to fresh water for your dogs.

Cadman is a dog-friendly community park with an off-leash area in San Diego, California. The nicest aspect of this park is the children's playground, which is located close to the dog park. Bring your own water and make sure your pet is cleaned up after. During the Fourth of July and Saturday mornings during Little League season, there are no leash-free hours.

Bring Petzooie to Otay Ranch's Dog Park, which is conveniently located near Otay Pet Vet and REI, for a great way to unwind after a day of shopping. This unique feature allows you to exercise your dog while also allowing them to socialize with other dogs in our 10,000 square foot secured area. Weather permitting, the park is open everyday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with lots of nearby parking.
