The Redondo Beach Dog Park is a 3-acre park located at Dominguez Park's northern end. A turfed and fenced dog run with distinct spaces for large and small dogs is part of the facility. Benches and drinking faucets are available for both dogs and their owners. Except on Wednesdays, when it is closed until noon for repair, the park is open from sunrise to dark every day.

There are separate fenced off-leash sections for large and small dogs in the dog park. The park has water for dogs, benches for people, and pooper scoopers. Los Gatos Creek Park is home to a dog park. There is a $8 parking fee if you park in the Dell Avenue parking lot to reach the park. You can also enter via Dell Avenue via a pedestrian bridge that spans the 17 motorway. The dog park is located between the ponds and the San Tomas Expressway, slightly east of Highway 17.

The Cougar Crest Bertha Peak Trail in the San Bernardino National Forest is a reasonably easy 7.5 mile trip that will take about 3 hours to accomplish with Petzooie. This is an excellent track for novices, and it is popular with everyone from runners to families. The trail is quite desolate throughout the week. From March through September, the path is at its best.

Dogs are allowed in the parking lots and picnic areas at Natural Bridges State Beach, but they are not allowed on the trails or on the beach. Shorebirds, migrating whales, seals, and otters all call the area home. Every day of the week, from 8 a.m. to sunset, the park is open.
