Rancho Jurupa Park is a 200-acre dog-friendly recreational facility near Riverside, California, with two beautiful 3-acre lakes and 140 private and group campsites. A splash pad, great hiking and bike routes, fishing, and other activities are accessible for day use. At all times, dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet. Adults, children, and dogs all have day-use admission prices.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the San Francisco Bay Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in San Francisco! Mount Rubidoux Trail is a dog-friendly, easy 2.7-mile circle trail with a river and a variety of activities near Riverside, California. The trail is open all year long. This trail is also open to dogs, although they must be kept on a leash. The views from the top are breathtaking.

Petzooie is welcome to join you at Mount Diablo State Park's campgrounds and built-up areas, including the scenic picnic spots. The observation platform on Mount Diablo, which views the lowlands and forests below, is well-known. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on any of the park's trails or fire roads. Mount Diablo State Park is open from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the week.

The El Dorado Trail - Forni Rd to Missouri Flat Rd Segment is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a nationwide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Placerville!
