Bring Petzooie to Canine Corners Dog Park in Harry Griffen Park in La Mesa, CA to run around off-leash! The Dog Park is located in Harry Griffen Park and consists of three different gated areas: one for tiny dogs and two for dogs of all sizes. Water, picnic tables, clean-up bags, and scoopers are provided in each enclosure. At the entrance to the dog park, there is a water fountain. Visitors to the park can unwind in the covered seating areas. In Harry Griffen Park, dogs must be leashed until they enter the Dog Park. There is plenty of parking and it is ADA-compliant. The Solvang Trolley, also known as the Honen, picks up passengers outside the Visitor's Center on Copenhagen and Second Streets on a regular basis and takes them on a 25-minute tour of Solvang's Downtown Area. On a recreation of an 1800s Danish streetcar, passengers experience the town's architecture and attractions.Tour guides inform guests about Solvang's history, explain the origins and significance of many landmarks and buildings, and provide Danish folk tales and cultural comments. They also provide information on local activities and other facts about the area. It is drawn by two muscular Belgian Draft horses who are always friendly. Most pets are welcome on both modes of transportation, however larger dogs will be more comfortable on the trolley.
