Camping, fishing, picnic spots with grills, and five group picnic areas are all available at this 320-acre park. Walking, hiking, bicycling, and equestrian riding are all possible on the trails. A par course, a 3-acre swimming lagoon, and a 72-acre lake are all part of the park. Dogs must be on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet long. It is necessary to have a license. Dogs are permitted on the grassy area surrounding the swimming lagoon, but not on the sand or beach.

Memorial Park Dog Run is a tiny, enclosed dog run on the west side of Memorial Park, north of the tennis courts, where pets are permitted to play off-leash. A temporary permission or a Santa Monica license is necessary. Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the run is closed for maintenance.
