The Greenhouse Tasting Room is encircled by a heated, pet-friendly patio and lush vegetable gardens. It's the ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine and a couple small meals from the menu. Roasted rosemary almonds, local cheeses, marinated olives, and Model Bakery baguettes are all favorites. Traditional wine sampling flights are $20 and contain Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon tastes.

Alston Park in Napa, California, is a vast natural preserve with a fenced-in area where dogs can run free. The enclosed area includes agility equipment, a huge water pan with running water, and a double entry system to assure the safety of all dogs entering and exiting. For dogs under adequate voice control, a substantial chunk of the park is off leash. Dog waste bags, as well as several cans in which to dispose of the waste, are freely available. There is also a significant section of the park that is only open to leashed dogs.
