Dog Park Locations

Dogs are allowed off-leash on the entire beach from October to February. Dogs are only allowed on the waveslope the rest of the year.

Marina Green is a dog-friendly waterfront park with views of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. This large open park, which is popular with the local community, provides plenty of entertainment for pets. On-leash dogs are accepted.

The San Gorgonio Wilderness Trail is a 16-mile journey in the San Bernardino National Forest that will take Petzooie about 9.5 hours to complete. This trail is used by many hikers as a warm-up for Mount Whitney. You'll gain 1000 feet in elevation in half a mile after crossing Mill Creek as you switchback into the San Gorgonio Wilderness.

Malibu Creek State Park is a pet-friendly park in the Santa Monica Mountains that protects the Malibu Creek canyon. The park is located just 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles, making it ideal for city inhabitants seeking a taste of nature. Leashed dogs are permitted in the park's day use areas and campsite, but not on the trails or dirt tracks.

The West Irvine Track/Peters Canyon Bikeway is a multi-use trail in Tustin that's perfect for walking Petzooie! A parking lot with easy access to the West Irvine Trail/Peters Canyon Bikeway is shown on the map below.

Head up the Sandstone Peak Walk if you and your dog are experienced hikers seeking for more than a leisurely trail. This 6.25-mile circular route features a 1,075-foot elevation increase and offers wide views of the surrounding area once you reach the peak. Dogs should always be leashed, and their owners should tidy up after their pets.

Sunset Trail is 3.2 miles in length and is an out-and-back trail. The trail is simple and shady, totally surrounded by meadows and big pine trees, and is located at the 19.1 mile marker on Sunrise Hwy off of I-8. In the heart of Laguna Meadow, a huge basin, stands a charming tiny lake known as Water-of-the-Woods. It is necessary to have an Adventure Pass.

Dogs are allowed at the campground, picnic areas, and on the paved roads at D. They are permitted on the beaches and dirt pathways of L. Bliss State Park, but not on the beaches. South Lake Tahoe attracts visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy the crystal clear waters in the summer and the snow-capped mountains in the winter. Keep in mind that you must keep Petzooie on a leash no more than six feet long for the length of your visit to the park. D. L. Bliss State Park is open every day from sunrise to dusk.

This park is rarely crowded and features a huge main area as well as a small dog area, however there is no shade.

Cahuenga Peak and Mount Lee are reached by the Wonder View Trail, which climbs 925 feet. Hike this 3-mile trail for a fantastic view of the Hollywood sign as well as terrific photo possibilities with your dog.
