Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Sacramento! Dogs are welcome in the gorgeous courtyard of HALL Wines in St. Helena, but not inside. Anytime is a good time to visit because of the picture-perfect environment. However, if you go with your pet in October, you will be able to aid other creatures as well. The winery hosts its month-long "Harvest Hounds" in the courtyard every October. There, four-legged pals can mingle while bipeds sample HALL wines, with sales going to Napa Humane. Well-behaved hounds can always hang out with their people at HALL, regardless of the season.

This little fenced-in, off-leash area, located southwest of Los Prados park, provides Petzooie some place to get active! Puppies must be at least four months old to be considered for adoption. Each dog owner is limited to three dogs per visit. There are waste bags provided to clean up after your dog.

Simi Peak Trail is a 5.3-mile out-and-back trail with lovely wildflowers that is categorized as tough and is located near Simi Valley, California. The trail is open all year and is popular for hiking, running, nature trips, and bird viewing. This trail is also open to dogs, although they must be kept on a leash.
7587. Hi-Way Drive-In
Hi-Way Drive-In is a drive-in movie theater that welcomes pets. This nostalgic activity is still alive and well, and you can bring your dog along to watch a great film from the luxury of your own automobile. Dog owners are encouraged to only bring well-behaved pets that do not bark during the thrilling sequences to avoid disturbing other moviegoers. If your dog needs to go potty, remember to wipe up any mess that is left behind. This spacious, retro drive-in cinema also features a concession area and a selection of low-budget films.

Rotary Centennial Park & Recreation Complex is a dog-friendly recreational area in Twin Peaks, CA, with a dog park with two fenced-in areas for small and large dogs, a water fountain, picnic area, nice seating area, and doggy waste bags located at the far end of the park (behind the senior center and near the garden). There is ample parking available.
7589. Blue Buffalo Dog Park
The Inland Empire 66ers have teamed up with Blue Buffalo to develop Minor League Baseball's first dog park. The dog park, which is over 50 feet long and 25 feet wide, is open during their Bark in the Ballpark games. For little and large dogs, there are two different areas. During Sunday games, leashed dogs are welcome in the grass parts of the ballpark, and they can now stretch their legs off-leash at the dog park as well. The current Bark in the Ballpark schedule can be found on their website.
