Henry W. Coe State Park, often known as Coe Park, is the largest state park in northern California made primarily of wide open spaces, and dogs are welcome. Throughout the park, there are breathtaking towering mountains and precipitous canyons. The Coe Ranch Campground, paved roads, and one trail that connects the Visitor Center to the parking lot off of East Dunne Avenue are all pet-friendly sites at the park to enjoy with Petzooie. At Manzanita Point, Blue Oak Horse Camp, Poverty Flat Group Campsites, and the Hunting Hollow or Dowdy Ranch entrances, dogs are not permitted. All other trails in Coe Park are likewise off-limits to dogs.Every day of the year, you can gain access to the park at any time.

Gaviota State Park, located on the California coast, welcomes dogs. Pets must be kept in a car or tent from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and must never be left alone. Owners are required to remove their property.

7566. Sacramento Northern Bike Trail

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Elverta! Wright's Field is 230 acres of oak-studded rolling grassland. There are no signs directing you to the open field from the streets; you must look for it. Although there are no official trails, one can meander around this open field and build 2-3 mile circle excursions. Equestrians and dog walkers, as well as trail runners, frequent this region. Because there is no water provided, you and Petzooie should bring your own. From the main thoroughfare, park along South Grade Road and proceed for about a mile. The Back Country Land Trust looks after the property.

Calico Ghost Town near Yermo, California, is a dog-friendly old West attraction where visitors may go through an actual mine, pan for gold, and view the Mystery Shack.
