Sunset Trail is 3.2 miles in length and is an out-and-back trail. The trail is simple and shady, totally surrounded by meadows and big pine trees, and is located at the 19.1 mile marker on Sunrise Hwy off of I-8. In the heart of Laguna Meadow, a huge basin, stands a charming tiny lake known as Water-of-the-Woods. It is necessary to have an Adventure Pass.

Wells Park Off-Leash Dog Facility is a 1.4-acre dog-friendly area in El Cajon, California, with two distinct areas for larger dogs and smaller/shy breeds. There are several lovely shade trees, as well as a shelter with picnic tables. After their play, your dog will enjoy a specifically built water fountain for dogs to cool off. The park is also equipped with lighting, allowing you to use it at night.

The Dog Park is located in Harry Griffen Park and consists of three different gated areas: one for tiny dogs and two for dogs of all sizes. Water, picnic tables, clean-up bags, and scoopers are provided in each enclosure. At the entrance to the dog park, there is a water fountain. Visitors to the park can unwind in the covered seating areas. In Harry Griffen Park, dogs must be leashed until they enter the Dog Park. There is plenty of parking and it is ADA-compliant. Santee Dog Park is a dog-friendly park on the banks of the San Diego River in Santee, California. In approved areas, pets are allowed on a leash. There are also bathrooms on site, as well as 2-miles of illuminated paths, walk-in access from the Mission Creek Trail and Wintercreek Place.
