Your dog is welcome to accompany you on a Fun Zone Boat Company harbor cruise for a dog-friendly tour of Newport Beach, CA. While on the 45-minute or 90-minute harbor tours, you may see sea lions play and see famous houses. Simply leash your dog and make sure she is comfortable while on the water, and you will both have a fantastic time.

The soft ground, flowing water, and wildlife will please your dog. This is a particularly hot trail in the summer.

The Mishe Mokwa to Mount Allen Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a reasonably simple 6-mile hike that takes around 3 hours with Petzooie to accomplish.

The Ann D. L'Heureux Memorial Dog Park in Carlsbad, CA, has a gated area of 13,200 square feet for dogs to play and exercise. The park is shaded by eucalyptus trees and features benches, a dog watering fountain, plastic bag dispensers, a dedicated parking lot, and a dedicated parking lot.

At Corona Del Mar State Beach, dogs are allowed to accompany their owners at specific hours of the day. Before hopping on the 2.5-mile Bob Jones City to the Sea Trail (which starts right behind the farm) in San Luis Obispo, CA, pick up a delicious picnic lunch from the Avila Valley Barn. The paved, dog-friendly trail winds its way through the Avila Valley, following a beautiful stream all the way to Avila Beach. Walking a half mile past the trail's official end along the fairly narrow bike line on Avila Beach Drive can take you to one of the town's two off-leash dog beaches (Olde Port Beach or Fisherman's Beach).
