Since 1873, Lollypop Farm has served as the headquarters of the Humane Society of Greater Rochester. Around 115 employees and more than 800 volunteers are able to care for almost 10,000 animals annually thanks to community support, which also makes a number of initiatives to address problems that lead to the surrender of unwanted animals possible.
