Hudson Valley Humane Society

Founded in 1973, Hi Tor Animal Care Center takes in over 2,000 animals each year and is the only open managed admission shelter in Rockland County.​

All of the dogs we offer up for adoption have undergone a veterinarian's examination, been neutered or spayed, received their shots, and been microchipped. Age-appropriate vetting is performed on puppies under six months.

Here at Little Orphan Animals, welcome. 29 years of adoring, providing for, and adopting! We are a non-profit organization that has been helping stray animals in our neighborhood since 1993.

A 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization, SPCA Westchester is committed to saving homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals as well as preventing animal abuse and neglect through public awareness campaigns and the enforcing of humane laws.

The mission of Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to protect animals from needless suffering and inhumane treatment. No animal should endure pain or be put to death due to being homeless, in our opinion.

Two full-time Animal Control Officers (ACO) are employed by the Town of Woodbury to continuously patrol the community and gather stray canines. They are sent out by the Woodbury Police Division.
