Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve is a dog-friendly preservation area near San Diego, CA, where leashed dogs on leashes no longer than 8 feet are accepted on the trails. Waterfalls, streamside forest, sycamore trees, a freshwater marsh, and fauna such as mule deer, bobcat, coyote, and raccoons may all be found in the canyon. Camping is not permitted within the Preserve, and all recreational activities are limited to day usage only.
