At Veterans Park Dog Park, pets are allowed to play off-leash. On-leash dogs are welcome throughout the rest of the 12-acre park. You and your leashed dog can mingle with 50 ostriches and emus, feed them from a bowl, and see their daily activities. In fact, the ostriches appear in the cult classic film Sideways. Before you go, make sure to check out the gift shop. Ostrich Land is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week.
