The Big Red Barn's Murray Family Farms Fruit Stand welcomes dogs! Bring Petzooie with you when you go grocery shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables. 18 varieties of cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, apples, oranges, artichokes, asparagus, tomatoes, and pumpkins are among the seasonal favorites. A variety of jams, jellies, pies, jerky, baked products, and snacks are also available. Murray Family Farms is one of the rare fruit stands where the majority of the things sold are grown on the premises. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed in the petting zoo, the paid agrotourism area (save for one weekend a year when they host a Dog Days event), or the store.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Fullerton! The trailhead for the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail is shown on the map below.

Many of the outdoor areas of the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum are dog-friendly. Visitors can learn about Los Angeles between 11,000 and 40,000 years ago, when saber-toothed cats and mammoths roamed the Los Angeles Basin during the last Ice Age.

The San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in San Clemente! With Petzooie, the Satwiwa Loop Trail is a 2.5-mile easy trek in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area that takes around 1.5 hours to complete. This beautiful climb is near to the city but feels like you've stepped into another universe. The trail provides some of the best views of roadrunners, prairie falcons, hawks, rabbits, deer, and coyotes in the area. The trail is designed for hikers only.

Pet owners can rent dog-friendly surfboards from Coronado Surfing Academy in Coronado, CA, so they can surf with their dogs. Year-round, private lessons are available. Please contact us for a quote.

Domaine Chandon offers informative and entertaining tours of their winery, vineyards, and winemaking process. Petzooie is welcome to join you in the Tasting Lounge, which is a dynamic, contemporary space with an adjoining patio.

Rancho Mirage Dog Park is a 4.5-acre dog park featuring distinct off-leash zones for large and small dogs in Rancho Mirage, California. There are also shady spots with sitting. This dog-friendly park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

Bring your dog to this fenced, volunteer-run Half Moon Bay dog park to have some off-leash fun. A $20 annual charge is suggested but not required.
