The 170-acre Dan Daniel Memorial Park, which includes rolling topography, river frontage, wetlands, and woodlands, invites visitors to enjoy a range of recreational options. Picnic places of various sizes are available throughout the park. Dan Daniel Park is home to the Danville Braves minor league franchise, which plays at American Legion Post 325 Memorial Stadium. Picnic areas and shelters, as well as walking and bicycling trails, a skate park, and soccer fields are all available.

Ridgway Park is a dog lover's paradise! The newly refurbished dog park area provides over an acre of safe space for dog owners to let their pets run free. Within the enclosures, there is covered and open seating for owners who want to enjoy the park with their pets, as well as a covered shelter outside for those who want to take in the beauty of the surrounding natural waterways. Both the small dog and all dog enclosures are ADA accessible, with drinking fountains for both canines and humans.

Visitors to the Bark Park for the first time must register with Park Staff.
