Dog Park Locations

The park's 3 1/2 miles of trails allow walkers, runners, and bikers to access all of the park's active and peaceful regions. The trail's 2-mile outer loop

M.C. Martin Park is a Virginia park. M.C. Martin Park is next to Union Street Missionary Baptist Church and near Quik N Plenty.

The 170-acre Dan Daniel Memorial Park, which includes rolling topography, river frontage, wetlands, and woodlands, invites visitors to enjoy a range of recreational options. Picnic places of various sizes are available throughout the park. Dan Daniel Park is home to the Danville Braves minor league franchise, which plays at American Legion Post 325 Memorial Stadium. Picnic areas and shelters, as well as walking and bicycling trails, a skate park, and soccer fields are all available.

Fido Field, the city's first dog park, established in Riverview Farm Park in April 2006. Fido Field is a terrific spot to play with almost an acre of open space.

Ridgway Park is a dog lover's paradise! The newly refurbished dog park area provides over an acre of safe space for dog owners to let their pets run free. Within the enclosures, there is covered and open seating for owners who want to enjoy the park with their pets, as well as a covered shelter outside for those who want to take in the beauty of the surrounding natural waterways. Both the small dog and all dog enclosures are ADA accessible, with drinking fountains for both canines and humans.

Visitors to the Bark Park for the first time must register with Park Staff.
before going inside the park To enter the Bark Park, all dogs must be registered. Must provide current proof of Animal Registration License from the area of habitation, as well as current papers showing current Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, as well as the Rabies Tag Number.

At this dog park, dogs are allowed to play off-leash. There is a separate section for little and large dogs in this park. A drinking fountain is also available for thirsty pups.

-Owners are legally liable for any bodily harm or property damage caused by their dogs.
-Owners are responsible for cleaning up and disposing of waste left by their dogs, as well as providing the necessary tools.
-Dog owners must be with their pets at all times and keep them in sight.
-All dogs must be rabies-vaccinated and have city license tags.
-In the dog park, no dogs in heat are permitted.
-Puppies who use the park must be at least four months old.
-When entering and exiting the dog park area, dogs must be leashed.
-Dogs that attack people or other dogs must be leashed and removed from the dog park immediately.
