Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Tulare Santa Fe Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Tulare! This dog park, located between Buckskin and Shetland Roads on the west side of Bluebell Drive, has separate spaces for large and small dogs. Around the rest of the park, there are dog-friendly hiking routes and lots of picnic areas for you and Petzooie to enjoy.
