Dog Park Locations

Your pet will enjoy playing in Woodward Park's one-acre fenced off-leash run. Large and tiny dogs have their own sections.

Selma's City of Selma Dog Park is a dog-friendly recreation facility. This grassy enclosed park is a nice area to play fetch with your dog. Owners can relax in the shade of one of the many trees in the neighborhood on hot days. Because there are no faucets at the park, carry your dog's water with you. Owners of dogs are also encouraged to clean up after their pets.

All Dog Park members must have their dog undergo a temperament test and have up-to-date vaccinations. Once you enter through our Dog Park gates, you can rest certain that your dog is in a safe and healthy environment!

NewBark Dog Park, Newark's first dog park, will be located at Newark Community Park, on Cedar Boulevard between Newark Boulevard and Chapman Drive, between Newark Boulevard and Chapman Drive. Separate fence-enclosed zones with double-gated entries and exits for small and large dogs, shaded seats, agility equipment, and water for both dogs and owners will be available at the new dog park.

There is a large dog area and a little dog area in this park. On-leash dogs are permitted in all parking lots, picnic sites, and trails north of Calaveras Road.

This enclosed dog park, which includes a separate little dog area, will make your pet go crazy for the chance to play off-leash. Vaccinations and licenses are required for dogs. Outside the park, dogs are welcome on the walking routes and open fields. The Centennial Sportsplex on 25th Avenue N has public parking.

This enclosed dog park with trees and water elements welcomes leashed pets. The adjoining playground and 'tot lot' will appeal to children.

It's a little park, but it's completely enclosed and has two dog sections. Take the 12th street exit off of Highway 101 and head south. Take the same exit heading north and cross the overpass. Just before the Fortuna Feed Store, turn right at the stop sign and you'll see the park. (a distance of less than a tenth of a mile)

When registering, all dog park visitors must present proof of their dog's rabies, Bordetella, Distemper vaccination (DHLPP), and spay/neuter. The fee covers one year of membership for up to three dogs and is $40.00 for locals and $55.00 for non-residents. A secure access system is in place, with members being given a passcode to enter.
