Dr. Paul May founded Tanglewood Veterinary Clinic in Columbus in 1982, which later became Gateway Veterinary Hospital. It started out as a small and large animal clinic outside Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Dean Jones purchased the clinic in November 2005 and renamed it Gateway Veterinary Hospital in 2007 to emphasize its location.
