This famous park in Ballard on Puget Sound offers spectacular views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Two wetlands, a small circle route, and a repaired northern beach are all part of this park. Walking along a mountainous coastline, hiking through woodland trails, sunbathing on sandy beaches, fishing from a pier, and a boat launch with 300 feet of shoreline are all available at Golden Gardens. In the higher northern section of the park, there is also an off-leash area for dogs. According to the Seattle Municipal Code, dogs are not permitted on beaches or in children's play areas in Seattle parks.

This 122-acre natural area is home to old-growth trees, numerous wildlife, and approximately 4 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails.
