Dog Park Locations

Coupeville Town Park is a traditional 3.8-acre municipal park with a breathtaking view of Penn Cove. A bandshell, playground, and mature evergreen trees may be seen in the park.

Of all the off-leash areas on Whidbey Island, Patmore Pit has the largest fenced area. Patmore is a 15-acre meadow with separate gated agility and small dog areas, as well as toys, water, and poop bags. Directions: Take Highway 525 North or Highway 20 South to Patmore Road, turn west on Patmore Road, then turn left on the second road on the left. Follow the road to the gate, which is on your left.

This small, dog-friendly coastal park was established in 1929 and provides fishing, picnic tables, and seats.

There are a number of sports fields, an arboretum, picnic areas, and walking trails in this recreation area.

Whatcom Falls Park, located in Bellingham, Washington, is a 241-acre park. Whatcom Creek, which runs from Lake Whatcom to Bellingham Bay, is home to the falls. There are four waterfalls in the park, as well as numerous miles of well-kept walking routes. Other amenities include a fishing pond for youngsters aged 14 and under.

A community building, sports and play grounds, hiking, picnicking, and a spray park are all available in this public place.

Picnic tables, a playground, paved walks, and a bay-view rental facility are all available at this harborside park.

Trails, Open Space, Outdoor Basketball Court, and Mixed Use Field

In the center of Bellingham is this 100-year-old neighborhood park. Most of the park is below street level, surrounded by greenery, and is divided into two park portions by Cornwall Avenue and flanked by North and South Park Street. Properties that face the park benefit from a city-maintained view as well as a higher property value than similar houses in the same area.

The park features heritage shrubs and trees such as lilacs, rhododendrons, bridal veil, and dogwoods, as well as native plants and turn-of-the-century interests in flora and fauna. The majority of the bushes have been dug out by curious children, making an interesting hide and seek field.

Northridge Park is south of McLeod Road and north of Barkley Boulevard in the Mount Baker neighborhood. Northridge Park is a partially built park with a trail; parking is now only available on neighborhood streets.
