In 2006, the National Register of Historic Places listed Harlinsdale Farm, a 198-acre historic area in Franklin, Tennessee. It was created around 1900, with key dates between 1935 and 1945. The main horse stable, which serves as the property's focal point, was completed in 1935.

Northmoreland Park is the largest park in Westmoreland County, covering 548 acres. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks Northmoreland Lake with both warm water fish and trout. Every year, a fishing derby is conducted on the lake, which gives good fishing chances. The lake is also a popular location for park visitors due to the neighboring playgrounds, pavilions, Activity Center, and pathways.

In 2014, the Town of Thompson's Station worked with Mars Petcare and Outdoor Encounter to create a lovely dog park in the center of Thompson's Station. Our Town's dog park is huge enough to tire out even the most enthusiastic canines, with four (4) acres of space and two (2) zones for large and little dogs. The park's rules are given below (also posted on-site).
