Dog Park Locations

This little off-leash dog park is located in San Francisco's Potrero Hill district.

During an hour-long, one-mile walking tour, our free walking tour will take you through the history of Cannery Row up to the present day. The tour is appropriate for both adults and children of all ages, and it will give you a better understanding of this ancient location. The free tour takes place every day at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. across the street from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. On Mondays and Tuesdays, there are no tours. Keep an eye out for your tour leader, who will be waving a red and yellow flag.

Kitching Peak Trail is an 8-mile challenging hike in the San Bernardino National Forest that will take Petzooie about 5 hours to accomplish. Stunning views of the mountains, drop-offs, and desert bottom can be seen from the summit of this dog-friendly route in Banning, California. Because this trail is sometimes closed, you should check with the Ranger Station ahead of time.

On West Steele Lane, dogs are allowed to play off-leash in a specified area of the park.

Oak Canyon Dog Park features separate spaces for large and little dogs, as well as water stations for dogs. Behind Oak Canyon Community Park is the dog park. Use the Oak Canyon Community Park gate and continue to the end of the road, where you can park and walk about 200 yards to the park's entrance. In the event of heavy rain, the Dog Park may be temporarily closed.

Rose Valley Falls Trail is a short, simple hike in the Los Padres National Forest that takes around half an hour with Petzooie to complete. This walk is ideal for those looking for a short hike, especially if they have little children with them. There is just a tiny amount of uneven ground with a couple of small stream crossings, which may be difficult for the old.

Take Petzooie for a walk along Santa Cruz's West Cliff Drive. A three-mile walking and biking trail along the Pacific Ocean is known as West Cliff Drive. The walk begins at the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and concludes at Natural Bridges State Beach, passing via the historic Santa Cruz Dream Inn, Steamer Lane, and Lighthouse Point. Wheelchair access is available on West Cliff Drive.

Watsonville's Westside is home to a wildlife sanctuary. In view of the Pacific Coast Highway, there is a trail system encircling Watsonville Slough. A hiking system and pristine nature preserve are among the amenities.

The Bayshore Bikeway (Silver Strand Bikeway) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Coronado! Take a stroll or ride your bike beneath the Coronado Bridge to see the red roof of the historic Hotel del Coronado and stop for a snack at a trailside cafe. Dogs must be kept on leashes that are no longer than 6 feet in length, and any pet waste must be collected and disposed of as soon as possible.

The San Juan Creek Route is a multi-use trail in Dana Point that is a terrific area to walk Petzooie! A parking lot with easy access to the San Juan Creek Trail is shown on the map below.
