The City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department provides the public with 28 beautiful and well-maintained parks totaling 184 acres, making Watsonville an ideal place to live, work, and play.

Franich Park has a playground, dog park, youth baseball field, sand volleyball court, basketball court, picnic and BBQ facilities, and a sand volleyball court. You don't feel cut off from the rest of the park, and dog owners may be out and about with their pets while still being a part of the community.

Sierra Madre Dog Park, located in Sierra Vista Park, is a tiny, enclosed dog park that is well-kept and friendly, making it a nice spot to take your dog for some off-leash fun.

Calimesa 4th St Community Park has a pavilion, two dog parks, playgrounds, gardens, and a multi-purpose trail with fitness stations for dogs. The park is 2.79 acres in size and is located in central Calimesa, California.

This off-leash dog park area in San Francisco's Pacific Heights district is quite popular with dog owners, but it is located on a steep slope with strong traffic nearby, so dog owners should exercise additional caution.

745. Mill Valley-Sausalito Path

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Mill Valley-Sausalito Path, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now an excellent spot to walk Petzooie.

746. Rosewood Trail to Angel Vista

Hike the Rosewood Trail with your dog to the beautiful Angel Vista viewpoint. The most direct path to this beautiful location in the Santa Monica Mountains is a 3.5-mile round trip climb with an elevation gain/loss of roughly 800 feet. Visit the website for trail instructions and more information.

747. Bee Rock

Depending on your trekking aptitude, you and Petzooie can hike 1.7 to 4-miles round trip to Bee Rock, a hive-shaped point on the east edge of Griffith Park. The short and steep Bee Rock Trail or the less steep Bill Eckert Trail can be used to get to Bee Rock. Visit the webpage for more trail and hiking information.

A gorgeous lake with a fishing pier, baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, pathways, a dog park, and a disc golf course are all part of this 183-acre park. Pavilions are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Double door entry, human and canine drinking faucets, separate spaces for large and small dogs, limited bench seating, ample shade, treebark and wood floor, uncommon supply of trash bags, and plenty of free parking are among the amenities.

Watson Dog Park is a popular hangout for locals. It's wide and well-kept, with distinct spaces for little and large dogs. Grass and dirt play areas, drinking fountains, a cleanup station, chairs for people, and friendly dogs and dog owners are among the amenities.
