The David R. Gafin Dog Park, a 200-foot by 200-foot enclosed dog run with two sections, is located in the southeast section of Rio San Gabriel Park. The tiny dog section's height limit is 15 inches to the shoulder. Per person, two dogs are allowed.

All trails within the Monument, as well as the campsite and day use areas, are dog-friendly. On the shuttle buses, dogs are permitted but must be muzzled.

1118. The Barkyard at Petco Park
Bring your dog to Petco Park in San Diego to watch the Padres play from The Barkyard, which has five semi-private, dog-friendly viewing spots in left-center field that can accommodate up to four people and two dogs each. Artificial turf that does not absorb heat and in-seat meal service are available in the viewing sections to keep paws cool. Each dog will be greeted by a PetCo ambassador before being led to their seat by a Padres pet-concierge. Nearby, there is a certified Pet Relief Area as well as a watering station.
