ALPHA Canine Sanctuary offers homeless dogs a no-kill shelter. The 1995-opened 20-acre ranch is tucked away in the Californian foothills above Bakersfield. An expansive view of the mountains may be seen to the east. Dogs will receive round-the-clock attention and security because caregivers reside on-site. They, the workers and volunteers, give daily care and love.

In order to end the suffering of unwanted cats and kittens, The Cat People was established as a nonprofit in 1990. To assist the abandoned cats and kittens in Hart Park in Kern County, a group of women started working together more than 20 years ago.

MEOW Co.'s goal is to prevent the euthanasia of abandoned cats and kittens and to find them loving homes. We accomplish this by developing community programs and partnerships across the entire state of California, which aid in stopping the killing of animals in animal shelters. We are convinced that we can save the kitties if we cooperate.

The sole no-kill shelter and original animal protection organization in Kern County is the Bakersfield SPCA. Our goal is for there to never again be any healthy companion animals put to death due to a lack of compassion, a home, or space.

The City of Stockton Animal Shelter is renowned for its openness and for successfully advocating for the proper and compassionate treatment of companion animals.

The initial adoption facility for the Calaveras Humane Society debuted in June 2019. By appointment, we take in pets that owners have given up and also take in animals that have been transferred from Northern California's congested municipal shelters.

The Animal Services Section is in charge of running the Yolo County Animal Services shelter and providing animal control services to the county's cities, unincorporated areas, and University of California at Davis property. We strive to provide our clients with courteous service while maintaining their safety.

Our goal is to offer all Merced County residents attentive, competent, and caring law enforcement services. As a government organization, we serve our clients promptly and courteously while ensuring their security.
