The adoption cost for the Southaven Animal Shelter is $20. Every critter up for adoption has had a 7-in-1 shot. A $35 extra veterinarian cost is charged if the animal has not been neutered or spayed.

Over 1,400 dogs and cats were taken in by us in 2020, and we worked to find them homes through adoption or transportation to other shelters, where they did. Additionally, we provided financial support for the spaying and neutering of approximately 240 owned and stray animals in the tri-county region.

In July 2013, Paw Prints Rescue started accepting canines and felines into our facilities. Since then, WE have been overloaded! We accept any and all animals that we are capable of caring for. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, horses, and even a donkey have all been housed by us.
