To improve the lives of animals in Douglas County by making them more adoptable and thereby raising the adoption rate while at Douglas County Animal Care and Services, educating the public about responsible pet ownership, and participating in any other projects or activities that may become available and will be advantageous to the animals, their owners, and the general public.

Hearts Alive Village Cat Cafe offers excellent care to cats and kittens as they search for new homes in a welcoming environment for both people and cats.

Many stray cats and canines are housed by us. These creatures have been kept as strays for five days.

The non-profit Heaven Can Wait Animal Society was established in 2000 with the goal of ending the needless and senseless slaughter of cats and dogs in Las Vegas-area shelters. Our team focuses on the urgent need for free-roaming cats and companion animals to receive high-volume, low-cost spay and neuter procedures. The Heaven Can Wait Animal Society also organizes adoption opportunities and educational activities.

Animal Help Alliance specializes in saving the misunderstood, damaged, and difficult-to-adopt animals in our neighborhood. Please consider one of our "Special Kids" as a foster or permanent family member. We frequently have "Special Kids" that require that additional training, have a disability, or have a lifetime medical problem.

We put a lot of effort into giving owners in dire straits the optimism they require to care for their animal family members. ​P.A.W.S. Volunteers work to help with everything from training problems to microchipping and spay & neuter pricing savings.
