More than 20 years ago, Anjellicle Cats Rescue began aiding cats. We have saved 405 cats and kittens in the NYC area so far in 2022, with more than 300 of them finding permanent homes.

Regardless of where the dogs were born, our goal is to rescue, rehab, and place homeless, abused, or neglected pets in loving homes. Animal welfare is important, and we work to put an end to animal abuse.

We are a no-kill animal rescue group devoted to saving and treating NYC's stray animals. Our goal is to place every cat we have rescued in a loving, long-term home.

Dogs rescued from dog meat farms, high kill shelters, slaughterhouses, and strays are housed in our facility in Bundang, South Korea. We give activists and rescues hope, knowing that their pets would be unlikely to survive without adoption. We bring the majority of the dogs for adoption to the United States, where the adoption rate is substantially greater than the less than 15% adoption rate in Korea. Through KK9R, more than 2,000 dogs have been saved and successfully adopted.

Woof Dog Rescue is listed with the city's New Hope Project, which serves as a bridge between rescue organizations and the city shelters and was established by Mayor Bloomberg. In order to find them their new forever homes, Woof Rescue rescues adoptable dogs and cats from these shelters and gives them with the security of foster homes, critical medical care, re-socialization, training, and delicate loving care. We are a small nonprofit with a few devoted, dedicated volunteers but no shelter facility. Our days are largely devoted to finding foster homes, training, veterinary care, and interviewing prospective adopters.

She founded Bobbi and the Strays in 1998 as a wholly nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue group. Since the outset, we have been committed to saving animals from neglect, cruelty, overcrowding in shelters, and abandonment.

The goal of Muddy Paws Rescue is to create and sustain a vibrant group of animal lovers committed to putting an end to the needless killing of companion animals. We achieve this through cooperative education, direct lifesaving, and ongoing innovation.

The Shelter Connection, a non-profit volunteer group at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, was founded in 1999. Our goal is to boost adoptions through training and socializing the dogs at the shelter and enhance their quality of life in collaboration with the Town.
