Finding permanent homes for abandoned dogs and cats is the mission of Social Tees Animal Rescue, a non-profit (501c3) organization in New York City. We are a community-focused, foster-based organization that was established on the tenets of responsible pet ownership and providing a welcoming environment for our staff and volunteers.

To work towards a day when society takes into account the welfare of all animals and offers companion animals in city shelters secure, loving homes. In order to raise awareness and promote compassion for animals in need, we organize neighborhood activities and advocacy campaigns. We acknowledge the bond between people and animals. Rational Animal collaborates on projects with the general public, educational institutions, and famous people.

Animal Haven is a charity group that locates homes for stray cats and dogs in the Tri-State region and offers behavior intervention services as necessary to increase adoption prospects. We run a Manhattan animal shelter that was established in 1967. We also offer initiatives that strengthen the connection between people and animals.

By rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned cats, advocating spay/neuter programs, and collaborating with people of our community to find humane solutions to issues concerning homeless animals, our objective is to improve the lives of companion animals in our city.

Back in 1984, a scrappy bunch of pals from all over the world moved to a lonely region of Utah's high desert... and started the process of permanently altering the future for animals in shelters.
